We are getting so excited... but I have to be honest, I lay awake sometimes thinking how quick God can provide this money and drift off to sleep dreaming of holding our little one, but by the time I wake up I feel so discouraged thinking "how in the world can we raise this much money?" I quickly have to redirect my thinking! I was teaching Will and Miles a song yesterday, "God will make a way, when there seems to be no way, He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me!" as I sang this simple children's song, I realized I have a "grown up" faith not a "child's faith". He calls us to come to him as a child, with a faith that trust that he will indeed provide for us, love us and work in ways we can't understand. We as adults try to understand before we move... that is not faith, Shannon and I have decided to claim Proverbs 3:5-6 for this year!
Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart, do not lean on your own understanding. In ALL your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths!

oh girl, YES. what a daily battle it is to stand fast in the faith against an enemy who ceaselessly assaults our faith (1 Pet.5:6-10). keep standing firm and we will alongside you, confident that He who began a good work will be faithful to bring it to completion! He who authored your story and your faith will perfect it. We can't wait to see Him do it! we Kimballs love you & are behind you.
